Monica Reinoso is a local nurse with a soft spot in her heart seniors. She shared, “As a nurse, I’ve seen that our seniors are kind of pushed to the side or forgotten about, and I want to do my part to change that. I like that Meals on Wheels is a community. It provides a connection for isolated seniors.”

This year, Monica is hiking a 78-mile stretch of the Pacific Crest Trail in Oregon to help homebound seniors and people with disabilities get healthy meals delivered with care, and the support they deserve to live with dignity, on their own terms.

By making a gift today, you can help her reach her goal of $5,000 for the Homage’s Meals on Wheels program.

Together, we can provide nutritious meals and a safety net of services to help our aging neighbors live independently in their homes. We can show older adults and people with disabilities that they live in a community that cares.
