Chronic Disease Self-Management
Developed at Stanford Medicine, this interactive workshop is an opportunity to share and learn from others who are also living with chronic health conditions.
The six sessions focus on effective problem-solving, reducing stress and frustration, making healthier food choices, exercising safely, improving communication with health providers, and relaxation techniques. During this six-week course, you will learn new skills to best self-manage your chronic condition(s) and pain.
You will be receiving a personal copy of the Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions textbook as an additional resource to help manage your chronic pain.
