Homage’s Trauma Informed Care Team is excited to announce our “It’s About CAREing” Campaign!

As a part of the Snohomish County CARE Community, Homage, along with a growing list of partners, is helping change the way agencies do business. CARE Communities “have committed to staff professional development, participation in ongoing learning communities and operational change that focuses on C.A.R.E.”.

What is C.A.R.E.?

The tools you need to become trauma-informed: Compassion, Appreciation, Resilience & Empowerment!

As a Trauma Informed Agency, Homage’s Trauma Informed Care (TIC) and Trauma Informed Leadership Team (TILT) are working towards training staff in being trauma informed. It is the intentional practice of holding awareness for ourselves and others, understanding that everyone has a story which shapes the narrative of our lives. It is the idea that we need to work together with clients, riders, participants, colleagues and ourselves, to reduce re-traumatization; building resiliency. In simple terms, it means that you CARE. The TIC and TILT teams will be providing more information as Homage continues to move forward in this journey. If you’d like to be part of our TILT team, please contact Chris Tifre or Amy Dennis for further information.

Everyone has a story – It’s about CAREing.
